William Spotted Tail Dies After Speech in Rosebud
William Spotted Tail 63 son of the famed Sioux chief died of a heart attack after a speech at Parmalee and was buried with military honors last Wednesday in Rosebud. He was a former scout and friend of white settlers and a member of the Episcopal church at Rosebud. A widow and an undetermined number of children survive.

Testimony in a case against the Town of Roswell on two quarter sections of land sought to be removed from the town tax rolls will be completed in Huron before Circuit Judge Alva E. Taylor. Plaintiffs William Moschell Elizabeth Bruner and others claim the land formerly plat by the town is not part of Roswell and should be taxed as farm property. Additional testimony will be taken in Judge Taylor's Heron office with a Roswell town board member unable to attend yesterday. Counsel for the plaintiffs is Lewis Henson of Churchill & Benson Huron. counsel for the town is J. E. Whiting of Woonsocket.

Pierre S D March 25 The South Dakota house approved by 70 to 18 a bill that would imprison bandits who rob or attempt to rob banks or trust companies shooting of robbers would be justified within 20 miles of the scene. Manganese Dumping Claim Rejected by U S Government

Senator Davis denies lobbying for sugar interests
