Scouts met at 10 30 a m at the scoutmaster Rev James S Robinsons home and walked to a gulch a mile and a half away where fires burned around a light rain had fallen earlier The outing focused on cookery tests for Second and First Class and merit badges as they near a Court of Honor meeting late in March After cleanup the group returned home with a brief observation contest along the route.
