Sioux Falls College fans tuned in Friday morning for the final rounds of an all school Ping Pong tournament sponsored by the Stylus. Four semi finalists were set after thirty entrants narrowed down. contenders included Sylvester Cavigielli Ramona Hilmar Martini Everett Little and Dick Bauer. matches for the semi finals were to be played Thursday afternoon with final matches before the student body. Wellington junior college opens night classes

Wellington Springs reports evening classes for the second semester to aid students who work daytime. The public school administration course targets teachers aiming for administration, while New Testament literature serves Sunday school teachers and Christian workers. Professor M. D. Munn leads the administration course and Professor Wile BR King the literature course. About 35 students have registered.

All State Orchestra Planned For Mitchell Convention

Arrangements for an all state high school orchestra to appear at the D EA convention in Mitchell next fall have been completed. Joseph E. Maddy will conduct the 130 instrument group, with 101 players from outside Mitchell and Mitchell high school orchestras in reserve. The $100 fee paid to Maddy will fund a scholarship for a student to attend the National Band and Orchestra Camp at Interlochen Michigan.
