E J Bloodgood, 30, died at his Beadle county home Wednesday morning. Born January 6, 1884 in Custer township, he leaves a widow and four children, four brothers Mahlon Ank Lote and Harry, and three sisters in or near Huron. Funeral services will be at the Methodist church Saturday at 2 p.m. Burial in Riverside cemetery.

Buffalo County residents expressed hearty approval of the federal corn hog reduction program at a January 29 meeting led by County Agent Howard K. Shultz from State College. E. E. Cruson was elected chair, with Will Etauer William Petersen and Bernie Koch as committee members. A district committee will include eleven Burle County members plus the four Buffalo County men, who were asked to attend a February 5 instruction school in Chamberlain.
