Youth to Stand Trial for Theft
Robert Moore sixteen years old sits in the county jail awaiting trial at the January circuit court term on a theft charge. He is accused of stealing fifty two dollars from Russell Danielson at Daum's auditorium area, entering his room in the early morning of December 6. Moore waived preliminary hearing and seeks a jury trial with bond set at two thousand dollars. He was arrested in Sioux City the day of the theft with Clifford Ashby. Previously Moore was sent to reform school for breaking into J C Penney, with parole later violated.

Deland resident Levison is hospitalized in Watertown after slipping into a waste oil drain hole at Ludwig's Garage. Both bones in his right leg were broken between the ankle and knee, in an accident that occurred while he was near his car.

Miss Norma Davis Undergoes Major Operation
Norma Davis of Carpenter who has been crippled by infantile paralysis underwent a major operation in a Minneapolis hospital last week. Officials say the surgery was successful and she will probably regain use of her limb.
