Attorney General Opinions On Institute Funds And Undercover Payments
The attorney general holds that money from the state institute fund may pay for county educational aid and for conferences promoted by the superintendent of public instruction. A payroll voucher for Herbert Brimer of 830 dollars to prepare and review materials for such conferences is authorized as a speaker expense. A separate opinion permits undercover agents’ pay from vehicle sale funds if the work aided liquor law enforcement and proper affidavits accompany payment.
