Plan for Hanson County coal study using placer gold drill

Vermillion December 8 17 Ex ploration of Hanson county coal deposits likely will be made next spring, says Dr E F Ro State geologist. Rothrock recently visited by Will Rudloff on whose farm coal was found, and Charles Bruett Hanson County state representative. Rothrock says coal in southeastern state areas but veins are thin. With 8 drill for placer gold testing, samples will be taken every few feet to yield a conclusive test.

Farm Bureau Backs Reciprocal Trade Pacts

The American Farm Bureau Federation endorsed reciprocal trade agreements and cited mainly beneficial effects from pre agreements. It urged amendments to require unanimous approval by the secretaries of state commerce and culture for any renewal or modification.
