Model Plane Contest to Close State Fair
South Dakotans will see the Model Airplane contest on Saturday September 7 the final day of the State Fair. Sponsored by the Huron unit of the Women’s National Aeronautic Association it is open to youths up to 18 with prizes including plane rides trophies and medals. Soil Conservation Displays At State Fair In South Dakota
Exhibits showing soil conservation progress will be displayed in the state fair alongside CCC built models. Their advance has been rapid and this year they are above par and well worth seeing at the State Fair with the WLS National Bare Dance Show.
