Beadle County Building Decorated With Grain Seed Panels
Beadle County plans a 60 year themed display at the 1840 South Dakota State Fair featuring 31 seed varieties and panels made from grasses and grains. An American eagle over a giant Beadle County sign will greet visitors while cash prizes totaling 149 dollars accompany the decorative entries. The project, supervised by John O Kane and Mrs O Kane, emphasizes Beadle County’s growth since 1880 with imagery of a buffalo, pioneer homestead, and a 1940 model farm home.
