Howard Set For New School Year
Howard, Aug. 2 Special The 1837 school year in the Howard public schools will begin September 7, according to Superintendent B. B. Shaw. Four new faculty members join this year with two in the high school and two in the grades. Donald Knopp of Nemaha Nebraska will be the new athletic coach and math and science teacher. Lois Braskamp of Huron will teach in the primary room, Mable Anderson of Akron Iowa will teach in the 5 6 7 8 department. Music and arts instructor position in both high and grade schools remains vacant after a resignation.
