South Dakota Adopts Uniform Vehicle Law After Study
Sioux Falls April 23. The Uniform Motor Vehicle Act regulating highway operation, passed by the legislature, reflects more than five years of study by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws. Mr Voorhees and state officials cited the act as vital for highway safety, noting Hoover’s push for uniform codes and the act's provisions on rules of the road, vehicle size and weight, structure, equipment, traffic signs, and a headlight law.
