F S Hollis Dies This Morning
Mollis, longtime Huron resident and locomotive engineer for the Chicago and North Western, died around 10:30 this morning in a Huron hospital after falling ill on a run between Redfield and Pierre. He was born May 6, 1883 in Hepburn Iowa and moved to South Dakota in 1900. He leaves a widow and mother, siblings in Iowa, Nebraska, Montana and California, and his funeral plans were pending further word from relatives.
