Mahuka Plan Reworks Gift Right of Way Proposal
The Mahuka site group asks Hawaii Territory to accept a 60 foot wide right of way from King to Merchant streets as a public street to the water front. If approved the five Mahuka owners would fund 17 000 of the 400 000 needed and adjoining owners would cover the rest.

Fedeval Agricultural Experiment Station results indicate Koloa rubber trees produce about twice the yield of Lihue trees. The tests suggest the Kolow area favors rubber production and that Koloa trees are exceptional in their potential.
