Postoffice Employees Get Retroactive Wage Boost
A joint resolution, passed last Saturday, grants emergency raises to most postal workers. Salaries from 1000 to 1200 a year rise by 200, those earning 31201 to 1800 gain 150, 1601 to 2000 gain 125, and 2001 to 2500 gain 100. Substitutes and auxiliaries receive 60 cents hourly, up 20.
