Robbery at Round Mountain Sluce Boxes Net $5000 Gold
On November 8 in Nye County Round Mountain two men disguised as miners raided the sluice boxes of Round Mountain Hydraulic Company and stole about $5000 in gold. J Kennedy, one robber, was captured at Tonopah and part of the gold recovered. The second thief has been identified and will be arrested.
