Strike at Secret Canyon boosts Eureka district ore hopes
A new silver ore strike in Secret Canyon near Prospect Mountain uncovered a fourteen foot wide vein with surface soil and rock obscuring most of the body. Oil prospects at Illipar well in White Pine County
George A. Foster of Ely announces three shifts to push drilling in Nipah Bas oil project near White Pine County. The drill has passed 240 feet through sand with indications of oil, supporting theories that the basin escaped total volcanic drainage. Oil at Moab Utah nearby strengthens optimism while geologists remain divided on ancient volcanic action. Work will continue aggressively to reach deeper depths and test the oil potential.
