Mineral Hill Mines Prospecting Report Near Eureka
R V Bruffey of Mineral Hill reports in Eureka this week on prospecting and development in the famous district. Ore samples assay up to 248 ounces in silver with copper and lead in notable quantities. Mineral Hill, 50 miles north of Eureka and five miles from the Eureka Nevada railway, once produced seven million dollars from shallow tunnels.

Eureka Distinction Mining Company Incorporation Report
Since 1908 the Distinction mine in Eureka owned by Ben and John Repetto has yielded ore at about ninety dollars per ton. On February 5 the Eureka-Distinction Mining Company was incorporated by Ben Repetto, John Repetto, and B C Plummer with one million shares at 25 cents each, total capitalization 250 000. George M Peacocke of Reno now handles stock sales and offers a small block to Eureka residents at 10 cents per share before listing in San Francisco. Stocks available from Peacock or at the law office of Edna C Plummer on Main Street.
