Fallon Cut Off Not Confirmed For Nevada Line

Southern Pacific official J M Falton in Reno could not confirm reports of a proposed out of main line cut off across Nevada. He noted towns like Winnemucca and Lovelock fear loss, while buyers along the proposed new route anticipate a real estate boom. The cut off would reroute the main line via Fallon, across irrigation projects, toward Battle Mountain, reducing distance by about 60 miles.

Madi Luisa Tetrazzini fulfilled her promise to perform in the streets of San Francisco drawing 15 000 to 20 000 people last Saturday night. WANTS DIVORCE LAW CHANGED IN NEVADA LEGISLATURE

Sam Belford, a State Banking Board member, says he will ask the coming Legislature to amend Nevada divorce laws.
