George Russell met Governor Oddie in Reno to discuss the State Industrial Home. No firm action yet, but the Governor promised to visit Elko later this month when the Board meets to adopt plans. Tax installments total about 11 000 dollars each in May and June, plus 5 000 dollars raised by Elko merchants, yielding 27 000 dollars for next June.
