The Golden Greyhound Prologue Ship Plot on Gold Shipment
On a 1908 voyage a wealthy young bachelor Overton Brill and ally Marsh plot to expose Benedict and Benedict's allies aboard a liner. They suspect forged wireless messages and a secret scheme to move 50 million dollars in gold to Russia while Captain Humphries and crew are drawn into a dangerous conspiracy. The pair plan a cautious fight, recruiting Stebbins, testing the captain, and confiding in Miss Jennison to gain an ally in the enemy camp.
