Family record would delight Strenuons Teddy

T E Weaver of Fall Creek spoke of large families at the Guard office. He described Joseph T Throckmorton of Pennsylvania stock as father of ten, with 10 children, 52 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren, totaling 112 descendants. He hopes President Roosevelt, a promoter of large families, will commend the record.

An East Eleventh street residence is sold by Mrs C H Park to J W Reed for 39000. The English style house sits in a fir grove by a mill race with a large lawn. Reed, interested in mining, plans to settle in Eugene. Mrs Park goes to Ashville Kentucky for her son Kenneth’s military school. Mr Park remains in California on mining business.

Tragic Field Accident Claims 12-Year-Old Boy

Vinton Baker aged twelve son of Drew Baker was killed on the Robert Pattison farm three miles northwest of Mugene on the Irving road when a harrow ran over him. Coroner Gordon ruled the death accidental. Funeral set for tomorrow at Pattison residence with burial in Luper cemetery.
