Real estate dealer Chas Mason suffers hip fracture on East Ninth Street
Chas F. Maser, a prominent real estate dealer, fell on the sidewalk in front of Barker Gun Works on East Ninth Street about nine o'clock and broke his left hip. He was unable to rise, received aid, and was taken to his home at 179 West Blahth Street. Dr. W Prentice and T W Harris attended, diagnosing a broken hip and administering anesthesia before setting the bone. Maser is 78 years old.
