The law requiring grain warehouse men to post bonds for grain storage went into effect last Wednesday. Judge Kincaid delayed action until a council meeting. Shelley submitted a written application with Clerk Lee for a bond as blank bonds are printed. Many warehousemen in good standing support the measure, though some are not handling grain now and will secure bonds when the season starts.
