Fire at Klamath Falls destroys laundry and runs to nearby structures
A gas generator explosion at 045 am ignited a blaze at the Klamath Falls steam laundry owned by B Campbell and W O Smith. The fire spread rapidly to Marble Works owned Grizzle Bros and a dwelling owned by Plater, with explosions of gas and ammunition increasing danger. Two men were knocked down and injured while attempting to escape as losses likely mount.

Bow River resident stabbed by befriended tramp at Alea mill
Lee Patton of Bow River was stabbed by a hobo he had befriended after paying the tramp’s fare from Woncalla to Comstock.
