Carbon County Sheepmen Win Important Suit
The Colorado supreme court reversed the Routt county district court ruling in the case of the Carbon County Sheep and Cattle company versus Routt county. The dispute concerns 1910 tax seizure of Carbon County sheep by Routt county for taxes for 1908 and 1910. Carbon parties paid taxes in Carbon and pro rated with Routt for time the sheep ranged there.
