Parkison's Store Burglarized by Three Boys in Town
Parkison's general merchandise store was entered last Thursday night with small items stolen including fishing gear and ammunition. City Marshal Willis traced the burglary to three youths, Edward Tennant Willard Haines and Hidward Tennant, ages under 15. The two oldest pleaded guilty before Justice Chichester, receiving a stern lecture. the younger was not implicated. A subsequent search of a vacant house uncovered more loot, indicating prior thefts.
