Encampment Promotes Scenic Regions and Local Industry

The city and local businessmen publish an attractive tourism folder highlighting Encampment Colorado Wyoming routes, fishing spots, and lodging along the Lincoln highway. The folder, to be distributed regionally, aims to draw visitors this season and notes scenic drives from Tie Siding into the Encampment area. Near the Lillian mine, ore from a vein rich for the district is being extracted despite snow, with operations resuming as weather permits.

Dry Farm lands restored to entry in Encampment valley

State official tests whether to relinquish the French Creek lands as July approaches. Many 320 acre tracts in Encampment valley, near Encampment, are being filed under the Dry Farm act. Restored lands lie idle no longer and will supply homes as homesteaders settle the valley rapidly.
