Gull Island Conspiracy Ends in Heroic Tragedy at Sea
Gordon Barclay leads a perilous escape as a mob closes in on his home. In a desperate voyage to Gull Island, Barclay, Semmes, and Sturtevant flee with Gunndorf aboard a burning Mary Nye. Gunndorf dies after being saved and then perishes with Barclay after a final attempt to rescue him. Tommy and Celestia witness the climactic sacrifice as the island becomes the stage for a grim count of vengeance and redemption.
