New Pastor Appointed for Encampment and Nearby Fields
The Presbytery named Rev. C. W. Clough of Mason City Illinois to lead Encampment Brush Creek and Beaver Creek for the coming church year. He will assume duties late April as per a letter to Dr. W. C. Burke. A vote of thanks praised Ira O Wolford for filling the unexpired term of R. R. Marquis and he will continue until the new pastor arrives. The annual church meeting was postponed to April 30.

Champion Snow Bucker Cox Hauls Goods Through Deep Snow
W H Cox completed a tough haul from Little Ranch on Cow Creek to a cabin across the creek. He started Friday with a load of household goods, digging a road through crusted snow several feet deep along a hill, then unloaded Saturday and moved the items by sled to the cabin two hundred yards away. He fulfilled his agreement to haul from town to the cabin.
