A delegate convention of the Independent and Democratic voters of the county will meet in Linton on December 20, 1902, at 1 p.m. to nominate county officials including Clerk of District Court, Probate Judge, Treasurer, Register of Deeds, State's Attorney, Superintendent of Schools, Surveyor, Coroner, four Commissioners, four Justices of the Peace, four Constables, and five Assessors. Delegates are apportioned by precinct. credentials due by 12 noon on December 23.

Mrs Yeater of Williamsport advertises hats of every description including Scratch Beaver and Camel's Hair Angora Felt in various colors plus trimmed hats from two to eight dollars. Also plumes and kid gloves with a visit planned to Linton on September 25 26 and 27. A separate notice offers a brown mare branded 4 on the left shoulder missing near Capt M Flick's place with a reward for recovery.

Strayed horses offered reward and local cattle sale notice

A group of horses strayed last fall with brands M C and H B on hips L X on shoulder and a defective eye noted. Reward offered for recovery. Also cattle for sale near Linton North Dakota with 40 cows and calves by registered bulls plus bulls for sale. Property includes land for sale near Braddock with farming potential and an exhaustless well.

Sealed proposals for building a school-house in Union School District No 12 Emmons County North Dakota will be received at the District Clerk office until October 9 1902.
