Independent County Convention to Nominate Emmons Officers

A delegate convention of the Independent and Democratic voters of Emmons county will meet at the court house in Linton on Tuesday September 3 1902 at 1 oclock p m to nominate county officers including sheriff clerk of district court probate judge treasurer register of deeds state s attorney superintendent of schools surveyor coroner four commissioners four justices of the peace four constables and five assessors. Delegates are apportioned by precinct with one at large per precinct and one per seven votes or major fraction for governor in the last general election. The Central Committee will approve those entitled to seats. Nominations close at noon on the day of the caucus.
