Word reached Linton that Comrade John Henderson died suddenly from an intestinal obstruction on Sunday morning. An early Emmons County settler and former Winchester postmaster, he served in Civil War units. Interment was Tuesday at Beaver Valley cemetery under Rev. J. E. McKinney. Survived by wife and five children. community offers sympathy.
