Prowler Foiled In Record Building Night Scene
Monday night about 10:30 a man was seen peering into the Record building windows. He fled when noticed, later peering into a rear room. Billy Hicks pursued on foot and then horseback, firing an unloaded blunderbuss. The intruder escaped on the Roop trail, likely vanishing into tall grass east of town.
