Emmons County Republicans Urge May 7 Caucuses

Emmons county voters are urged to attend caucuses on Saturday May 7 from 2 to 4 PM to select delegates for county and judicial conventions. The May 10 county meeting at Linton will choose delegates to Mandan and Fargo state events, shaping later presidential and state ticket nominations.

Republican County Convention Call for Emmons County

Emmons county Republicans meet in Linton on May 10 1904 to choose seven delegates for the state convention in Fargo May 18 and three delegates for the Mandan judicial convention May 21. Also ten delegates for a legislative convention to be fixed and seven for Grand Forks July 20 1904. Precinct caucus sites and delegate counts listed. credentials due May 10 1904 noon. County Republican Central Committee Meets in Linton Court Room

The county Republican central committee met in the Linton court room last Saturday afternoon. J. I. Roop was appointed secretary. A large list of committeemen was present and a proxy withdrawal by P. Hoerner of Dakem precinct was not admitted. A motion to fill vacancies was defeated. The committee discussed representation and set dates for caucuses and county conventions to be held in Emmons county with venues at Linton and Hazelton.
