Police report a burglary at Dr. R. H. Jackson's dental office on a Wednesday morning. Entry used a skeleton key, cabinet opened with a jimmy, eight sets of false teeth and several dental items plus gold and platinum valued around 80 with no money recovered.
Dr. Knte Kelsey of Menomonnica Wisconsin, sister of Dr Kelasy of Elyria, chosen by Gov. LaFollette as a delegate to the American International convention on Tuberculosis in St. Louis October 15 to 17. Kelsey, a State Medical Society member, has focused on TB prevention and cure and authored pamphlets that circulate widely.
A suspected mad mongrel caused a panic on Broad Street near the Lake Shore crossing Wednesday morning. The dog foamed at the mouth and barked sharply as it charged pedestrians toward the railroad, where a man with a club struck it. The animal fell, recovered, and fled along the tracks. Its owner could not be identified.
The city buildings and lands committees met with the heating company official team to settle a disruption in steam supply. The firm will heat the city building and fire engine house for the winter and power boilers in blocks and businesses with gas. Police captured 28 year old Johnson on Gatea Street after he appeared at Mayor Folger’s office for disorderly conduct. He had vanished from home last week, returned from Cleveland, visited Massillon and a hospital, with officers deeming him mildly demented. He offered no explanation and was sent home.
