A gang of Elangarian laborers employed by Bar ber Contracting worked on the new boulevard and departed last night. A fresh gang arrived this morning to take their place. The previous group had caused petty disturbances, but officials hope the change will curb the annoyances.
E D Hanford of Henrietta was jailed this morning after a 2000 dollar bail forfeiture. He had earlier been arrested on a serious charge and held on 2000 dollars bail by Justice of the Peace Lord. Some local businesspeople wish to keep their names private, but this morning the bail bond was released and Hanford was sent to jail to await action by the criminal court.
AC H Wilson a Civil War veteran long known in the county died at his Ridgeville home at 9 am Thursday. Born in Avon township he enlisted in the 2nd Ohio Cavalry and was wounded at Gettysburg. He served as a navigator until his death. Funeral set for two o'clock Saturday at Ridgaville Center church.

Downey, while Warren Collier and family visited Horace Collier and Frank Everett’s home. Mrs. Everett is sick, and Mrs. Standen is also on the sick list with Dan Standen under doctor care.
