Washington Avenue Bridge Construction Advances After River Drains
At noon on Wednesday the non central pier of the Washington avenue bridge was positioned as crews drained the river to allow riverward work. Earlier the river flow showed across the lower span while work proceeded to clear the channel. In French Creek Matthew Harres died at age sixty four after four years of illness. He leaves a widow and six children and was an active member of the OCM,B and a well known resident of French Creek.

Mourned Man Recommitted To Asylum After Mourning Loss
