Elyria High School edged Glenville in a standout baseball game on a local diamond. Glenville led early but Elyria pulled ahead in the eighth with Sartwell's graas, Davies' double, and a wild arrow from Prior. In the ninth Henn and Prior pushed runs as Ryan tallied on a single. Attendance was about 200.

Adopted Child Testifies to Fathers Abuse in Divorce Case
A twelve year old adopted daughter testified in a common pleas court on Saturday about the abuse by Warren B. Stearns toward his wife Curie B. Stearns. Mrs Stearns, a widow who brought property to the marriage in 1918, described repeated shaking and threats to kill her and the child and her sister. The divorce was granted on cruelty grounds.
