Louis Welfare, a Co and W power house employee south of town, was struck by a 20 000 volt live wire. He suffered a fractured skull, severe burns, and loss of consciousness before being helped by colleagues and taken home. Welfare, age about 35, has a wife and adopted child.
Rudolf Stark was named administrator of Frank Stark's estate in Elyria with a $1000 bond by Judge Hinman on Monday. A lawsuit for $100,000 damages was filed against the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railway by F F Thomas, alleging the Jan 19 Rocky Ridge collision killed Frank Stark, who served as a Lake Shore engineer. The petition accuses a freight train diverting onto the main line due to a road official's negligence. A domestic help ad accompanies the notice.
Henrietta resident Everett Kelly aged 49 shot himself at home last Wednesday afternoon. He had been agitated earlier, chased about the house and barn before the tragedy. His wife found him after dinner, and a neighbor helped transport remains to Brownhelm for funeral services. he leaves a widow and two children, one daughter having died two years prior.
