Man Charged With Assault After Attempted Room Entry

John Boskeni of Little Hungary swore out a warrant for John Profound, accused of assault and battery on Mrs Boskeni as he allegedly tried to enter an upstairs room. Boskeni says Profound held her mouth closed to silence cries until neighbors rushed to help. Profound fled as the house residents intervened. The case goes to trial this afternoon.

Henry Krohn Offers Garden Help For Juvenile Gardeners

The Home Garden association met at the high school last evening to hear talks on gardening. Henry Krohn proposed a school and kindergarten garden model and offered personal time to design and inspect summer gardens for children. Northern Ice and Refrigerating Company and Wagner Natural and Artificial Ice Company were incorporated to run wholesale and retail ice business and build artificial ice plants and refrigerating warehouses in Sandusky and Michigan.
