Lectured Two Boys for Poor Aim in Cat Incident

Two boys from Wooster Court faced the mayor after throwing stones at a cat and breaking an electric light globe. Two weeks after the Reporter urged Elyria residents to back the charity band concerts the event is set for tomorrow afternoon at the Opera House. Prices are low and the music praised as excellent. The band seeks a large crowd to reward its efforts to raise town musical ideals. All together everybody loosen.

Throngs of people filled the D Lewis and Company store for the opening of its enlarged and remodeled premises. Over two thousand visitors passed through the three upper floors during the two and a half hour event. No sales occurred as the gathering was social, praising the modern decor and convenient quarters.

The horse linked to the Thorogood Swanscapade sold for 94 to Tite Brothers by the Hlyria Livers company auctioneer Hisar. Vaudeville Trial?: Elyria Considers Summer Show Prices

Manager Dykeman weighs introducing vaudeville this summer to Elyria with cheap seats at 10 20 and 3 cents but a profitable plan would price tickets at 25 50 and 75 cents. He aims to lure crowds, install cooling fans, and bring top skits from the vaudeville stage if public demand supports it. The Macee company is billed for April 16 with reserved seats at four cents and advance sales at Murbach’s store.
