Two Freight Wrecks at Lester In Same Day
Two B and C line wrecks occurred near Lester on Tuesday within hours. An engine hauling a 2 coal train derailed on the Medina cut-off after a broken flange. A second Southbound coal train broke in two when a hopper flange failed, piling seven cars on the track with over 3000 tons of coal scattered. Lorain wrecking crew and derrick rushed to both sites. no injuries were reported as crews leaped clear before the wreckage fell. The Lorain Leater passenger train could not reach Lester for the afternoon run and returned to Lorain.

Telephone Pole Accident Injures Local Lineman
