The probate court clerk reports very few marriage licenses issued in June with several days showing none. A traveling couple from New York attempted to license in the period, arguing with the judge before denial, while officials note only about three licenses issued per day on average.
Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railroad Co reports a six month period ending June 80 16 with total income of 6 280 080 and net income 4 320 089, expenses 18 846 088 and surplus 2 870 089. Dividends total 1 878 860 with balanced charges and adjustments noted.
The South Elyria Improvement Association sold all seventy five lots at auction Thursday afternoon for a total of 3.92. The allotment lies at the junction of La Grange Elyria and Oberlin roads near the B and O tracks. Treva Reising owns a new giallo. Mrs Seaman and wife visited Mary Nobles in Eaton. Mr Bert Kingsley and wife visited George Laws in Erharte Sunday. Lorain County Babies two thousand. A book by Mrs O H Monroe will publish with halftone engravings of babies photographed past seven years. It will be an art work and valuable souvenir for mothers. It will include many features and pretty views not previously published.

Lake Chautauqua excursion tickets advertised with 80 day return, via Lake Shore & Michigan Southern line, with dates and agent contact details.

It promotes Kodol Dyspepsia Care as digesting all foods regardless of stomach condition and delivering nutrients to blood and tissues. It claims to cure indigestion dyspepsia belching sour stomach and weak heart. Sold by HA Dykeman.
A local druggist promotion claims Hollister's Rocky Mountain Tea cures weakness in children. Advertised as a tonic for 33 cents, available as tea or tablets from H. A. Dykeman.
