Oberlin on June 6 reports Citizens National Bank of Oberlin damaged last November by Cage L Chadwick former President C T Beckwith and cashier A Spear may reopen under financier Rawdon of Londonville. Rawdon to own fixtures and articles valued at about 600 with Chadwick note of 314 and other papers possibly included. Bank to be reorganized as National Bank of Northern Ohio with lease secured and several Oberlin Ashland Londonville investors backing.

Young man killed by C S W traction car in lay by

Frank Dunbar of Columbus arrested died after platform accident at Cottesbrooke switch. He and his eleven year old brother slept on the platform when a C S W car struck him within twenty feet. Dunbar's head crushed, leg torn, he died en route to a physician. Coroner to hold an inquest.

Fortitude Amid Toe Amputation At Flynn Hospital

Mrs Edward Varsey of Fields dornera endured a toe amputation without anaesthetic at Flynn Hospital. Observers say she watched the surgeon closely as the right foot toes were removed due to gangrene from paramonium. The operation succeeded and the patient is recovering.

Probate Judge Hinmant appointed Humane Officer Lawrence guardian of Frank Waite's three children on Wednesday. The Humane Society placed the children in the Oberlin Children's Home months ago. Waite filed suit Monday to regain custody, but the court found him unfit to care for the children.

Motorman Exonerated From Fatal Accident Inquiry

Coroner French examined four witnesses Friday in the investigation into the death of Jacob Millar. The motorman was cleared of responsibility after Parker testified Miller stepped onto the track as the car neared. Miller, deaf, did not hear the whistle and was struck. Three other witnesses were questioned.

Councilman King sued for bitter divorce in Lorain

Counciman AA King of Lorain was sued yesterday afternoon as divorce proceedings began. The wife accuses him of habitual drunkenness for three years and of abusing her while intoxicated for the past year. She seeks custody of their nine year old son and alimony for herself.

Warrants Out for Duck and Chicken Thieves
