Colored Robber Round Up After Bloodhound Chase
Frank Wilson, a colored man, faced a Saturday hearing after a Friday bloodhound chase. John Piper claimed Wilson snatched ten dollars from him near Savings Deposit Bank. Wilson denied, saying Piper borrowed the money for a bet. Wilson was bound over to the grand jury on robbery. Lorain Street Railway workers aided Officer Whitney by stopping a car twice. The hound tracked the suspect back to town, tugging on the leash as the dog keeper urged to hang onto that dog.
