Democrats Plan Dual County Conventions for Delayed Nominations
Loeda county Democrats announce two conventions to select delegates for the state and county tickets. The first convention June 24 in Elyria will choose delegates to the state convention and the Lorain delegation for the judicial and senatorial conventions. A second county ticket convention is planned for September or October. Chairman Folger says no prolonged campaign and no county candidate fielding until near election, with J. Old Injury Said to Have Caused Death
John Goetz a former Lake Shore brakeman died at his home from paralytic dementia linked by doctors to a head injury from a box car accident ten years earlier.
