Middle Avenue Ordinance Passed With Street Bond Plan
The council approved an ordinance to boulevard and pave Middle Avenue with funds from a 965 000 bond issue. Narrow escape for infant on Cleveland branch tracks
An eighteen month old child of the Russel family at stop 21 on the Cleveland branch narrowly escaped death when playing in the dooryard. A swiftly approaching car forced the mother to act, grabbing the child as the car tore away its dress and struck the fender. The baby and mother escaped unharmed thanks to the motorman lowering the fender.

Veteran QCleveland photographer Career J F Ryner died the week Wednesday. He began in Elyria and opened an early Wooster office before moving to a Wooster block later now the Andwur hotel. He lived in Cleveland from the mid sixties and married a sister of former city clerk W H Park. Survived by wife and a grandson, he was said to be among the state’s oldest photographers.

Hand Amputated At Cleveland General Hospital
Lee Osborne formerly of this city now of North Amherst underwent amputation of his right hand three inches above the wrist at Cleveland General Hospital on Wednesday morning. The injury occurred when his hand was crushed at the South Amherst quarries about three weeks ago.
