Farmer Fined and jailed for abusing boy at work
John Anderson of LaGrange was fined two hundred dollars and sentenced to six months in the workhouse by Mayor Folger after brutal mistreatment of a nine year old lad from the infirmary. The boy, living at the infirmary, suffered severe lash wounds and bruises before being returned to his guardian.
