Notorious Tricky Kline Killed After Train Tragedy
The slain man known as Tricky Kline was found mangled on railroad tracks near Flannagan Kentucky after a probable fall from a moving train. police say he had previously served time for highway robbery in this county and that his body will be buried in Kentucky as his parents request. The coroner, Winchestery, holds the remains and found $17.50 on the scene along with a timebook bearing the alias and home lead to Elyria Ohio. The wake of the case follows telegrams from W H Anderson superintendent of the W N railroad confirming the identification and origin.

Wellington residents injured in Nickel Plate wreck
A Nickel Plate passenger train derailed near Fairview after colliding with a telegraph pole blown across the track by high winds. From Wellington, Mrs. W. E. Bender, Emery Bender, and Mrs. Emery Bender were among the injured. 22 people in all sustained injuries as the train, traveling 45 miles per hour, derailed and lights failed. Passengers avoided ignition by suppressing matches amid smoke and gas from broken lamps while the Pullman stayed on the rails and one passenger slept through the crash. The group was taken to Grace hospital for treatment.
