From the Western markets comes a clearance sale offering goods at any cost to move large orders. The notice promises substantial savings through March 1st with items including an iron bed frame advertised at a low price and Reed Rechochers highlighted in bold marketing.

Word was received that Chas Stein, a former Elyria resident, died in Pittsburg on Tuesday at about 26. He spent most of his time in Elyria and was well thought of. The remains will be brought back to Elyria for interment.
The Lorain County Medical Society met at Lorain General Hospital on Tuesday night and elected officers. President Dr Monoymith of Lorain. Vice President Dr Maynard of Elyria. Secretary Dr Wean. Treasurer Dr Gillmore. Board of Censors include Dr Bance of Oberlin Dr Garver of Lorain and Dr Chas Cushing of Elyria. Changes to the constitution were adopted to allow affiliation with the state society.

The play follows a diamond fields heroine across continents, with humor and drama, featuring new Nyctalops creature and sensational climaxes by Persler. The New York cast travels with a 60 foot baggage car. matinees are usual.
A neighbor reported a shadowy figure near the rear window of George W Stevens on West Broad street on Tuesday night about nine. Police tracks in fresh snow followed briefly but the intruder escaped. Separate incident: Dr Edward Sheffield’s horse bolted, throwing him from the cutter near Tenth street. no injuries. Etta Hoag seeks 5000 damages via next friend for injuries from a train fall at Greenwich. attorneys Skilea and Skilee listed.
Governor Nash urges Ohio pupils to commemorate the sixtieth anniversary of William McKinley on January 29 1903 with exercises in schools colleges and universities. He notes the public admiration for McKinley and hopes the observance will deepen patriotism and knowledge of his character and work.
Baltimore and Ohio railroad workers including telegraph operators await action by Baltimore officials on a proposed wage raise. Management has considered the request for several weeks and an announcement of substantial increases is expected by February. Operators report a consensus that a substantial raise will be granted, with minimum pay rising to 505 dollars per month.
